Therapy for Anxiety and Chronic Stress
Anxiety and chronic worry can feel like living with a mind that rarely settles and a body that is often preparing for something to go wrong.
It may show up as racing thoughts, overthinking, difficulty resting, tension, irritability, perfectionism, trouble sleeping, or a constant need for reassurance. Sometimes anxiety seems tied to a clear situation, while at other times it appears without an obvious reason.
Rather than seeing anxiety only as a symptom to get rid of, therapy can help you understand what it may be communicating about safety, responsibility, unmet needs, relationships, past experiences, or pressures you have carried for a long time. The goal is not to judge your worry, but to listen to it carefully enough that it no longer has to take over.

How therapy can help?
Therapy can help you become more familiar with how worry shows up in your thoughts and body, what may be sustaining it, and what helps you feel more grounded. Together, we can make room for fear and uncertainty while supporting greater steadiness, flexibility, and choice in how you respond.
With curiosity, anxiety can become a doorway into deeper self-understanding.
How do I know if I need therapy?
Therapy may be helpful if anxiety is making sleep, concentration, decision-making, relationships, work, rest, or feeling present more difficult.
You might also seek support if worry feels increasingly difficult to carry, fear is limiting what feels available to you, or you would like greater confidence in your own judgment.
My approach
I approach anxiety with curiosity, compassion, and respect for the ways worry may have helped you prepare, protect what matters, or manage uncertainty.
We work at a pace that feels supportive, drawing on grounding practices while also exploring the emotional and relational experiences that may shape worry.
