Jungian-Oriented Psychotherapy

Jungian-oriented psychotherapy offers space to explore not only what is difficult, but also what your inner life may be asking you to notice.

Emotions, dreams, symbols, images that arise in dreams or imagination, recurring patterns, and questions of identity or meaning can become pathways toward deeper self-understanding.

This approach is informed by Jungian ideas but is not formal Jungian analysis, and I do not practise as a Jungian analyst.

How Does Jungian-Oriented Psychotherapy Work?

Jungian-oriented therapy pays attention to experiences that may be meaningful even when they are not yet fully understood in words. A recurring dream, powerful image, strong emotional response, spiritual question, or repeated relationship pattern may offer a starting point for reflection.

Rather than assigning one fixed interpretation, we explore what these experiences evoke for you in the context of your history, relationships, culture, and present circumstances.

This work may also involve gently approaching parts of yourself that have received less attention, felt difficult to express, or did not have enough room. These may include grief, anger, vulnerability, strength, creativity, longing, or needs that did not feel welcome in earlier relationships.

The goal is not to bring difficult material into awareness before you feel ready, but to support a more compassionate relationship among the different parts of your experience.

Who Is Jungian-Oriented Therapy For?

This approach may resonate if you are drawn to exploring dreams, symbolism, spirituality, creativity, emotional depth, or questions of meaning and identity.

It may also support people navigating the effects of trauma, attachment-related concerns, grief, isolation, major transitions, a sense of emotional disconnection, or a growing awareness that familiar ways of living may no longer fit.

My Approach to Jungian-Oriented Therapy

My approach is gentle, collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in your own meanings. Dreams, symbols, and imagination may be explored when they feel relevant and welcome.

Optional creative reflection may also be included as a way of supporting exploration within psychotherapy, but it is not presented as formal expressive arts therapy. You remain in control of how deeply we explore, with attention to what feels manageable and supportive for you.

I aim to create a steady space where protective patterns can be understood, emerging strengths can be recognized, and different parts of your experience can be approached with greater compassion and connection. Over time, this process may support a greater sense of wholeness, vitality, self-trust, and connection with who you are becoming.
