Therapy For Burnout
Burnout can develop when sustained stress, responsibility, or emotional strain exceeds the support and recovery available to you. It may involve emotional, physical, and psychological depletion after carrying too much for too long without enough rest, meaning, support, or room for your own needs and limits. You may feel worn down, less engaged, more easily frustrated, or increasingly distant from work, caregiving, relationships, or yourself. Burnout may also be connected to familiar ways of coping, such as taking on too much, prioritizing others, striving to get everything right, or finding it difficult to protect your limits. Rather than reflecting personal failure, these experiences may indicate a need for additional care, support, or change.

How therapy can help?
Therapy can help you slow down enough to notice what burnout has been asking for and explore the grief, anger, pressures, or meanings beneath exhaustion. Together, we can support clearer limits, more sustainable ways of carrying responsibility, and greater room for rest, care, and your own needs.
How do I know if I need therapy?
Therapy may be helpful if you feel worn down, less connected to yourself, find it difficult to rest, or notice that you are continuing to push through despite needing recovery. You might also seek support if familiar coping strategies no longer provide the relief they once did, or if burnout is affecting your health, relationships, or sense of possibility.
My approach
I approach burnout with compassion and curiosity. We explore both the practical pressures and the deeper meanings beneath exhaustion, supporting clearer boundaries, self-understanding, and a more attentive relationship with your energy and needs.
